We loved having Rajan Tavathia, an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, in the lab this summer. Rajan studied HLA binding and antigen presentation and presented his work at the Penn Undergraduate Research Symposium. A special thanks to Vainavi for mentoring him throughout the summer. We’re very proud of Rajan and excited to see what he does next!

Radia also passed her preliminary exam and is now officially a PhD candidate! We’re incredibly proud of her and excited to see what this next chapter brings.
